Wack 100 Claims Ray J Reached Legal Settlement Involving Misdemeanors and House Arrest Following 2025 Arrest
Talent manager Wack 100 reported on social media that artist Ray J has resolved the criminal charges stemming from a November 2025 domestic dispute incident. According to Wack 100, legal counsel secured an outcome resulting in two misdemeanor convictions and home confinement starting in November.

Music executive and manager Wack 100 has offered a public update regarding the criminal case against entertainer William Raymond Norwood Jr., professionally known as Ray J, following his arrest in late 2025. According to reporting by Hollywood Unlocked, Wack 100 shared via social media that legal counsel successfully negotiated a resolution that reduced Ray J's pending charges to two misdemeanors along with a period of house arrest.
The criminal matter stems from a Thanksgiving morning incident on November 27, 2025, at Ray J's residence located in Porter Ranch, California. Officers from the Los Angeles Police Department responded to reports of an alleged assault with a deadly weapon tied to a domestic violence disturbance shortly before 4 a.m. Authorities indicated the dispute arose from an argument regarding child custody involving the former couple's two minor children, Melody Love Norwood, 8, and Epik Ray Norwood, 6. The incident occurred months after Princess Love, 42, filed for divorce for the fourth time.
A significant portion of the confrontation was captured on Ray J's live Twitch broadcast, leading to his subsequent ban from the streaming platform. Following the police response, the 45-year-old singer was initially taken into custody on suspicion of making criminal threats, and officers received firearms present at the location. Ray J was subsequently released from custody later that morning at approximately 11 a.m. after posting $50,000 bail. Both individuals later published separate social media statements addressing the event.
Following an investigation, the Los Angeles City Attorney officially charged Ray J with six misdemeanor offenses. The filed charges included brandishing a firearm, assault with force likely to produce great bodily injury, and child endangerment.
In an update published on Monday, October 5, Wack 100 posted a photograph alongside Ray J at a courthouse facility to detail the case's progress. Wack 100 claimed in the post caption that defense attorneys successfully resolved the matter by securing two misdemeanors and home confinement. Wack 100 stated that the home confinement period is set to commence on November 3. Kulture Newz has not independently verified the final sentencing paperwork or city attorney court dockets.
