Paramount+ Renews Sylvester Stallone Drama 'Tulsa King' for Season 5 Ahead of Season 4 Premiere
Paramount+ has renewed the Sylvester Stallone-led series Tulsa King for a fifth season before Season 4 even debuts, according to reporting by Complex. Production has moved to New York to align with a storyline that sends Dwight Manfredi back to his Mafia roots.

Paramount+ has officially greenlit a fifth season of the popular crime drama series Tulsa King prior to the release of its fourth season, according to reporting by Complex. Production for the fifth season is already in progress in New York, reflecting a major relocation from the show's long-standing production hub in Atlanta, Georgia. This shift in location corresponds directly with a key narrative development that will bring central protagonist Dwight "The General" Manfredi, portrayed by Sylvester Stallone, back to his New York mob origins.
The transition to New York was announced as both a creative choice and a production move for the series. According to a statement released by Drew Brown, executive vice president of Physical Production for Paramount Television Studios, the production team is excited to shoot the next chapter in New York where Manfredi's narrative will continue to progress. Brown also acknowledged the studio's prior work in Georgia, noting that the state remains a significant venue for Paramount Television Studios operations.
The series originally opened with Manfredi being released from prison after serving a 25-year sentence for his Mob family, only to be banished to Oklahoma by his superiors. Rather than stepping away from organized crime, Manfredi established a new criminal network in Tulsa. Before Manfredi makes his eventual return to New York in Season 5, the upcoming fourth season will focus on his continued struggles in Oklahoma. Season 4 is slated to premiere on Oct. 16, according to details published by Complex.
In the fourth season, Manfredi faces challenges as he attempts to convert his growing criminal operation into a legitimate enterprise while protecting his crew from rival groups and politically corrupt figures. The network also revealed that Manfredi will suffer a substantial personal loss during the fourth season. The cast for Season 4 features notable additions and returning figures. Gretchen Mol joins the series as Amanda Clark, a Tulsa politician, while Kevin Pollak returns to play FBI Special Agent Musso after serving as a main antagonist to Manfredi in Season 3.
Pollak previously described the tone of the upcoming fourth season as containing intense violence, death, and heavy involvement from Stallone. Looking forward to Season 5, several cast members are taking on expanded roles. Stallone's daughter, Scarlet Rose Stallone, has been elevated to a series regular in her role as Spencer. Furthermore, actors Erik Palladino, Glenn Fleshler, Anthony Skordi, and Nickola Shreli have been brought on as regular main cast members for the fifth installment.
The early renewal reinforces the strong performance of the series for Paramount+. In a previous interview with The New York Times, Stallone described working on the show as a gift that offered him a new breath of life and a compelling character, giving credit to producer David Glasser. Paramount+ Head of Originals Jane Wiseman also voiced praise for the fourth season, noting Stallone was in great form and hinting that the show had room to expand.
Kulture Newz has not independently confirmed further plot details or release dates for Season 5 beyond the official network statements and reported details.
