Public appearances by Donald Trump have once again ignited debate surrounding his physical stamina and wellness following back-to-back incidents at a campaign rally and a White House event, according to reporting from Atlanta Black Star.

The 80-year-old political figure hosted a Rose Garden luncheon on Oct. 15 intended to honor first responders, including firefighters and law enforcement officials. However, the event's opening moments quickly drew attention on social media when Trump walked out to Lee Greenwood's "God Bless the U.S.A." and remained standing in place for nearly two minutes without delivering remarks, Atlanta Black Star reported.

While the patriotic anthem played over loudspeakers, Trump pointed toward the crowd, smiled, and swayed back and forth at the podium. Instead of stepping forward to address the seated audience immediately, he continued rocking until the track ended, according to the outlet's coverage.

Once the music subsided, Trump addressed the quiet gathering about the song selection. "That song. I never get tired of hearing it. Am I right? Don't we like it? Sometimes they say, ‘Should we turn it off right away and start speaking?’" Trump asked attendees, before inquiring whether organizers should play the song or cut it off. Atlanta Black Star noted that the crowd offered a mostly muted response before Trump praised Greenwood, 83, describing him as a "loyal person."

The display in the Rose Garden arrived just one day after a campaign event in Arizona on Oct. 14, where Trump broke mid-speech to yell out from the stage, "Where’s my doctor?" During that rally, he told the crowd that medical staff are "always waiting for something to happen" while repeatedly calling out for his physician, Atlanta Black Star reported.

Online spectators quickly seized on the physical mannerisms during the Oct. 15 luncheon, pointing out what appeared to be difficulty maintaining stillness at the microphone. Social media users on X labeled his movements restless, with one commenter writing, "He literally can’t stand still. The Fidgeter is here. This is torture for him."

The conclusion of the roughly 30-minute Rose Garden address brought further scrutiny. According to the report, Trump concluded the gathering by performing his familiar fist-pumping and hip-shaking motions without any background music playing, stepping down toward guests before pointing to his right ear with a puzzled expression.

While online commenters have previously circulated unverified speculation regarding physical supports or braces, Atlanta Black Star noted there is no evidence confirming those theories. Nevertheless, Trump's reliance on repeated doctor references and awkward physical movements continues to draw intense focus from political observers assessing the demands of executive office.
