Television personality Sutton Stracke stayed silent when approached by reporters regarding the legal background of her new romantic partner, John C. Kelly, during a recent outing in West Hollywood. According to video and reporting published by TMZ, the star of Bravo's reality series The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills declined to discuss Kelly's past plea deal when questioned outside The Henry restaurant on Tuesday.

While Stracke was unwilling to engage with inquiries touching on Kelly's background, she did briefly share remarks regarding the upcoming season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. TMZ reported that Stracke praised series newcomer Tracy Tutor as great when asked by reporters about how both Tutor and fellow new addition Leah Remini have integrated into the reality franchise's cast.

The questions arose following earlier investigative reporting from Page Six detailing Kelly's past encounters with law enforcement. According to reporting from Page Six, Kelly was arrested in 2013 after three separate women accused him of surreptitiously making recordings of them during sexual encounters that took place between 2011 and 2012.

Court records reviewed and documented by Page Six showed that Kelly ultimately resolved the legal matter by agreeing to a plea agreement. As part of that negotiated plea, Kelly received a sentence requiring him to perform 10 days of community service. In defense filings and statements made at the time of the proceedings, Kelly's defense team claimed that the camera setup had been installed strictly to keep watch over his dog and had only inadvertently recorded the intimate encounters.

Stracke had only recently made her relationship with Kelly public through social media. According to TMZ, she published a photograph showing Kelly kissing her cheek during their attendance at an Aerosmith benefit concert held on Sunday at the Hollywood Bowl.

Representatives for Stracke have not issued an official public statement regarding the renewed attention on Kelly's criminal record, and Kulture Newz has not independently confirmed the original legal filings beyond the reporting published by TMZ and Page Six. For now, Stracke appears focused on promoting the next season of her television program while keeping personal details regarding her partner's background away from the cameras.
