South Carolina State earned every first-place vote in the latest Black College Football Division I FCS poll after routing Virginia State 66-0, according to the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference. The Bulldogs rank first nationally in scoring offense at 61.3 points per game and scoring defense at 4.3 points allowed.
Sophomore running back Mason Pickett-Hicks ranks third nationally with 425 rushing yards. Delaware State, North Carolina Central and Morgan State also landed in the poll's top 10.
Week 3 features five MEAC games, headlined by Norfolk State hosting Hampton in the 61st Battle of the Bay.
