5-Star Recruit Saniyah Murray Commits to Mississippi State Over Ole Miss, Alabama
Mississippi five-star forward Saniyah Murray committed to Mississippi State women's basketball after averaging 22.8 points and 10.5 rebounds last season. She chose the in-state program over five other finalists.
Harrison Central star Saniyah Murray committed to Mississippi State women's basketball, announcing her decision on Instagram, according to the Hattiesburg American. Murray is ranked the No. 22 overall player and No. 5 power forward in the 2027 class.
The 6-foot-4 forward chose Mississippi State over Ole Miss, Alabama, North Carolina, Florida and Oklahoma. "Excited to announce my commitment to Mississippi State," Murray said.
Last season Murray averaged a team-high 22.8 points and 10.5 rebounds, leading Harrison Central to the MHSAA 7A title game and a 27-6 record.
