Fashion designer and entrepreneur Maxie J is expanding her reach beyond luxury apparel to educate aspiring founders on building sustainable online businesses. Through the launch of ScaleCOM Club, an educational platform tailored for women developing product-based e-commerce ventures, the businesswoman aims to share the precise tactical blueprint she used to build her own company from the ground up, according to reporting by AFROTECH.

The venture begins with "Sell With Strategy, Sis," a live masterclass focused on practical marketing frameworks, followed by a continuing monthly membership priced at $97. As reported by AFROTECH, Maxie J has set a goal to bring 100,000 women into the educational funnel, equipping them with direct, actionable steps rather than vague industry advice.

Maxie J is widely recognized as the founder of Ellaé Lisqué, a luxury fashion label celebrated for body-contouring evening wear, curve-conscious designs, and striking special-occasion pieces. According to Maxie J, she launched the business with just $500 and scaled it into a multimillion-dollar enterprise completely independent of outside investors or traditional retail backing.

Historically, Black women entrepreneurs face severe disparities in accessing traditional venture funding. Having developed her business through self-funding and trial, Maxie J noted in an interview with AfroTech Culture that she committed early in her journey to share her knowledge if she attained success. She explained that she wanted to give founders actionable instructions, including software tools and back-end systems, rather than generic recommendations that dominate social media.

To ensure participants progress beyond theoretical concepts, the platform incorporates structured operational support. According to Maxie J, ScaleCOM Club utilizes an operational manager charged with tracking student milestones, encouraging lesson completion, and measuring tangible sales performance. She also plans to host biweekly group sessions to field questions directly from members, while continuing to offer tailored one-on-one coaching.

Maxie J emphasized to AFROTECH that her standard for success centers on participants generating verifiable revenue—whether five, six, or seven figures—while fostering peer collaboration over marketplace competition. By offering accessible strategies and community accountability, she intends to help women transition digital visibility into concrete commercial growth.
