Chicago recording artist Lucki took to social media to request the return of his vehicle from law enforcement following a violent incident outside ComplexCon in Los Angeles. In a video shared on Instagram, the rapper displayed white medical tape covering a wound along his jawline and upper neck while addressing the Los Angeles Police Department directly regarding his impounded car. According to reporting by AllHipHop, Lucki stated on his social media broadcast that $100,000 in cash along with debit cards remained inside the vehicle.

Expressing concern about the handling of his personal property while in police custody, the artist asked officers to return the vehicle safely. The post showed Lucki pulling back his hair to provide viewers a closer look at the bandages situated just below his ear. The police response stemmed from a violence break out on October 3 at approximately 4:45 p.m. near the intersection of Chick Hearn Court and Georgia Street, as detailed in statements from the LAPD cited by AllHipHop.

Officers responding to the scene encountered a group actively fighting in the public street area outside the ComplexCon venue before the crowd dispersed. Law enforcement officers confirmed that four individuals suffered injuries during the disturbance. Two victims were transported to local medical facilities by ambulance crews, while a third person sought hospital treatment independently. A fourth person involved declined medical assistance after sustaining a cut to the elbow. Initial details regarding the root cause of the confrontation point to a dispute between Lucki and fellow recording artist Destroy Lonely, who is signed to Playboi Carti's Opium record label, according to sources referenced by AllHipHop.

The reporting notes that an argument between the two musicians escalated into a physical clash that ultimately expanded into a broader brawl involving multiple individuals. The clash follows a history of public tension between the artists dating back to August 2024, when Destroy Lonely previewed music suggesting he had surpassed older peers, prompting online retorts from Lucki. Additional friction occurred in September 2024 involving Playboi Carti over social media posts featuring jewelry, despite Lucki and Carti having previously collaborated on a remix in 2015.

While Playboi Carti was seen in video footage near the scene of the ComplexCon fight, AllHipHop noted that the clips do not indicate he participated in the assault or directed others to harm Lucki. According to reporting by TMZ cited in the coverage, the LAPD is currently investigating the incident as an attempted murder. Sources close to Lucki reported that the rapper is recovering and doing fine following the reported stabbing, though law enforcement authorities have not publicly announced any arrests or formal charges in connection with the case as of Monday evening.

ComplexCon representatives confirmed that venue security staff and local police reacted immediately to manage the scene on the public street outside the event.
