Longtime Green Bay supporter Lil Wayne voiced sharp criticism of NFL officiating following Sunday's prime-time showdown between the Green Bay Packers and the Dallas Cowboys, according to a report by AllHipHop.

The rap superstar turned to X, formerly known as Twitter, on Sunday night to publish three blunt criticisms regarding the standard of officiating. In his initial post, Wayne wrote, “NFL refs ain’t shit.” Less than a minute later, he shared a follow-up message with identical phrasing: “NFL referees ain’t shit.” Within three minutes of the first remark, the New Orleans native added a third critique, stating, “They make it hard to watch fr.”

Wayne had started his evening on a celebratory note by posting “GO PACK GO!!!!” to rally behind Green Bay ahead of kickoff. While his subsequent criticisms did not cite any specific ruling or refer directly to the contest by name, the messages coincided with an intensely flagged game at Lambeau Field, as reported by AllHipHop.

According to official team accounts cited by AllHipHop, the matchup concluded with 22 total penalties distributed evenly between both franchises. Green Bay was cited for 11 infractions totaling 96 yards, while Dallas absorbed 11 penalties for 108 yards. Five of Green Bay's fouls were classified as personal fouls, consisting of two taunting calls and three roughing the passer flags.

Following the game, Packers head coach Matt LaFleur addressed the emotional nature of the contest and the high number of flags assessed to his roster. LaFleur emphasized that players must keep their composure regardless of officiating, explaining, “You’ve got to control your emotions to the best of your ability.”

Despite the frequent interruptions by the officiating crew, Green Bay secured a 23-13 victory, marking its third consecutive triumph of the season and improving its record to 4-2. The loss dropped the Cowboys to a 2-4 standing on the year, according to game statistics reported by AllHipHop.

Green Bay established command early, carrying a 17-0 advantage into the locker room at halftime after converting nine of its 10 third-down situations in the opening half. Quarterback Jordan Love anchored the offensive production with 276 passing yards, throwing one touchdown pass and adding a rushing touchdown. Receiver Matthew Golden led the receiving corps by securing six catches for 104 yards and a touchdown, while Green Bay's defensive unit turned Dallas away on two separate fourth-down situations within scoring range. Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott suffered two interceptions as Dallas failed to establish sustained momentum.

Wayne's fandom for the Packers is an established part of hip-hop culture. As AllHipHop noted, he recorded the anthem “Green & Yellow” in 2021 and released another track titled “Special Ops” earlier this season, taking lyrical aim at NFC North rivals including Chicago Bears coach Ben Johnson.
