Law Roach Eyeing Scripted Roles in Hollywood: 'If I'm Terrible at It, At Least I Tried'
Celebrity stylist Law Roach revealed he is eager to take on scripted acting roles if a director comes calling. Having previously appeared as himself in projects like 'The Devil Wears Prada 2', the Image Architect noted he is not afraid to take risks in front of the camera.

Celebrity stylist and self-described Image Architect Law Roach is looking to make a transition into scripted acting, revealing his desire to take on dramatic roles rather than simply making cameo appearances as himself. Speaking to Variety at the 2026 InStyle Imagemaker Awards in Los Angeles, as reported by Complex, Roach made it clear that he is eager to explore performance opportunities whenever a director comes calling.
Roach, who has orchestrated some of the most memorable red carpet looks in contemporary Hollywood, told reporters that fear of failure will not hold him back from testing his talents. 'When a director sees something for me,' Roach explained regarding potential roles, adding, 'I want to try everything. If I'm terrible at it, at least I tried.' He also noted that while he regularly works alongside high-profile talent, he remains realistic about his capabilities, joking that working with legendary musical artists never tempted him to pursue a singing career.
While taking on a fictional scripted role would mark new creative ground for Roach, working in front of cameras is familiar territory. According to reporting from Complex, he has already appeared as himself in the feature film The Devil Wears Prada 2 as well as the Netflix comedy series Running Point starring Kate Hudson. Beyond narrative cameo spots, Roach has served as a television judge across multiple unscripted franchises, offering fashion critiques on Legendary, America's Next Top Model, Project Runway, and RuPaul's Drag Race.
The move toward acting unfolds during a prolific period in Roach's styling career, where he continues expanding his client roster beyond longtime muse Zendaya. The stylist recently brought reality television star Porsha Williams into his fold, accompanying her to Schiaparelli's Spring/Summer 2027 runway presentation at Paris Fashion Week. That partnership came shortly after Roach confirmed in September that Kim Kardashian had joined his roster of clients, which also includes international music icon Céline Dion.
Alongside his celebrity styling, Roach has also branched into lifestyle and luxury partnerships. During New York Fashion Week in 2025, he collaborated with The Dominick Hotel to curate a bespoke guest package that featured caviar, designer beauty goods, and Cheddar & Sour Cream Ruffles. He also recently attended an archival fashion gathering with What Goes Around Comes Around alongside digital influencer Camilla Araujo.
Even as his public profile broadens into new mediums, Roach has maintained staunch loyalty to his closest collaborators. During an appearance on the talk show Outlaws with TS Madison, Roach shared that he intentionally gives conflicting public statements concerning whether Zendaya and actor Tom Holland are married. 'You don't know if that lady married or not,' Roach remarked on the program, emphasizing that shielding the actress's personal life remains a top priority. Whether his next career turn lands him in front of a film camera remains to be seen, but Roach is leaving the door wide open for Hollywood directors.
