Kareen Lomax Releases Debut Album 'NAJI' After a Decade Writing for Others
Alt-R&B artist Kareen Lomax released her debut album "NAJI," a 13-track project exploring grief, identity and adoption. The Atlanta-raised artist previously wrote for Diplo, ZAYN, Leon Bridges, Maroon 5 and Syd.

Sweety High reported the album reflects on the deaths of Lomax's adopted sister in 2020 and her father in 2021, and takes its title from her first name, which she is now embracing.
Lomax said the album explores duality, with Kareen and Naji representing two complementary sides of herself. The project was produced entirely by Daoud and follows lead single "OFFLINE."
