Sean 'Diddy' Combs has been relocated from Federal Correctional Institution Fort Dix in New Jersey to Federal Correctional Institution Allenwood Low in Pennsylvania, according to reporting from the Associated Press and theGrio. The Federal Bureau of Prisons confirmed the transfer took place on Friday, Oct. 16, but declined to provide specific reasons behind the reassignment to the low-security Pennsylvania complex.

Representatives for the music executive also refrained from elaborating on the circumstances. Combs' spokesperson, Juda Engelmayer, stated to the Associated Press that decisions regarding inmate placement rest entirely with the Bureau of Prisons and noted that the legal team was not in a position to address the transfer details.

The prison transfer follows weeks of public examination regarding Combs' incarceration conditions at Fort Dix. According to an NBC News report, the Bad Boy Records founder had allegedly gained access to contraband items, including a mobile phone and Hennessy, while also receiving personal services such as massages, cleaning, and meal preparation from fellow incarcerated individuals.

Following those allegations, the Associated Press reported that Combs was moved into the prison's special housing unit, an area utilized to separate individuals from the general population due to safety or disciplinary concerns. A person familiar with the matter told the Associated Press that Combs subsequently forfeited 41 days of good-conduct credit, shifting his projected release date to March 2, 2028.

Medical concerns have also emerged during Combs' incarceration. As reported by theGrio, Combs was transported by ambulance from Fort Dix to receive medical attention in the early morning of Oct. 10 after suffering an apparent head injury. He was discharged back to the New Jersey facility several hours later, though the cause of the injury was not publicly disclosed. While TMZ initially reported that the injury occurred during an altercation with another incarcerated person, the Bureau of Prisons refuted that claim in a statement to the Associated Press, asserting that the alleged fight did not happen.

Combs is currently serving a 50-month federal prison term following his conviction on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. His defense attorneys have filed an appeal challenging both the conviction and the sentence before the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, which heard oral arguments in April but has yet to issue a ruling.

As the relocation took place, Combs' 19-year-old twin daughters, Jessie and D'Lila Combs, whom he shared with the late Kim Porter, were seen attending a social event in Los Angeles. According to TMZ, the sisters attended a private gathering hosted by celebrity talent manager Cade Hudson on Friday night alongside guests such as Issa Rae, Demi Moore, Seth MacFarlane, Paris Hilton, and Kathy Hilton.
