Davido and Prince Gyasi Partner With Maison Martell for Limited Afrobeats Bottle Release
Maison Martell has introduced limited-edition bottles honoring the international influence of Afrobeats through a creative team-up with Nigerian music icon Davido and Ghanaian visual artist Prince Gyasi. The collaborators gathered in New York City for a fireside chat spotlighting their joint visual and musical endeavor.

Global Afrobeats heavyweight Davido and renowned Ghanaian visual artist Prince Gyasi have united with Maison Martell to debut a special limited-edition bottle collection honoring contemporary African creative culture, according to reporting by Vibe.
The cognac house introduced custom designs for its Martell VS and XO expressions, reflecting the vibrant sound and global momentum of Afrobeats. To mark the joint launch, Martell hosted an intimate gathering at Bathhouse Studios in New York City on a Wednesday evening, bringing together figures from music, visual arts, and design.
During the gathering, attendees sampled themed cocktails including the Accra After Dark and the Nigerian Swift Sour while experiencing the multidisciplinary nature of the campaign, Vibe reported. Martell Culture Ambassador Adesope “Shopsydoo” Olajide moderated a fireside discussion featuring both Davido and Gyasi, detailing how their respective mediums shaped the collaborative product.
Davido, who has maintained an ongoing five-year relationship with the cognac house, reflected on the broader meaning of the partnership during the panel. “It’s been a blessing to help push the sound of Afrobeats to the world. Five years with Martell, and we’ve built something really special for this launch,” Davido said, as quoted by Vibe. He added that bringing Gyasi into the project elevated the connection between sound and visual arts while furthering a collective mission to elevate African culture worldwide.
Gyasi explained his process of transforming the cognac bottles into canvases that translate auditory emotion into vibrant imagery. “When I hear music, I experience it visually. With these designs, I wanted to capture the feeling of Afrobeats – the movement, the joy, the confidence, and the way it connects people across the world,” Gyasi said, according to Vibe. “Davido brings that energy through music, and I wanted to translate it through color, movement and emotion.”
The event featured visual presentations, including Davido’s “Already Falling” music video, which was filmed alongside campaign visuals at Maison Martell’s historic Château de Chanteloup estate in Cognac, France. To conclude the evening, Davido joined Nigerian DJ Ecool behind the decks to perform for the audience, Vibe reported.
The limited Martell VS Afrobeats bottle is currently available at select spirits merchants across the United States and online for $35, while the exclusive XO expression is slated for release across Nigeria, Ghana, and Kenya, according to Vibe.
