Jonquel Jones added 18 points and 10 rebounds for New York, while Sabrina Ionescu scored 17 points with six assists. Olivia Miles led Minnesota with 20 points, but the Lynx dropped their third straight game for the first time all season.
Despite the loss, Minnesota retained the WNBA's top playoff seed, while New York moved up to sixth ahead of a postseason that opens Sept. 27.
