A Black conservative TikTok creator who has publicly rallied support for Republican candidates says she was unexpectedly escorted out of a Texas political event over the weekend, according to reporting by theGrio. The content creator, known online as Thelma Lousie, had traveled to San Antonio to document a campaign appearance by Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton.

Lousie, who has accumulated more than 200,000 followers on TikTok, shared video updates before and after the gathering detailing the experience. According to theGrio, she explained that she had driven two hours specifically to see and film Paxton, who is campaigning in a Senate race against James Talarico. Soon after she started recording footage at the San Antonio venue, however, she reported being instructed that she needed to exit the premises.

In video footage cited by theGrio, Lousie expressed shock over the sudden ejection, stating that she was told Paxton's campaign manager requested her departure. "Oh my gosh. I cannot believe this. Someone just came up to me and said that Ken Paxton’s campaign manager wanted me to leave," she said in the clip. "I am just … My mouth is wide open right now. I really can’t believe this."

Lousie maintained that organizers gave her no official explanation for why she was being targeted for removal. Emphasizing her vocal advocacy for the conservative movement, she addressed the perceived slight in her recording. "I have done nothing but support everyone on the Republican side, and this is how I get treated?" Lousie said.

In follow-up remarks reported by theGrio, Lousie outlined her background within the party. She noted that she officially departed the Democratic Party in 2024 while residing in Nevada. During that election cycle, she actively volunteered on behalf of Donald Trump, serving as a captain within the campaign's "Trump Force" initiative.

To demonstrate her ongoing work covering conservative political events, Lousie displayed credentials she previously received for the Texas Youth Summit earlier in the month, as well as credentials from the Republican midterm convention held in Dallas the prior month. She questioned whether event staff mistook her for someone else but insisted the treatment was uncalled for. "There’s no excuse for treating me that way, because I didn’t do anything," she stated, adding that she did not blame the entire Republican Party but held Paxton's campaign manager accountable.

The encounter left a lasting impression on the digital creator, who noted that the dismissal would remain with her. "This, I will never forget. Never. This was beyond disrespectful," Lousie said in the video coverage verified by theGrio. Kulture Newz has not independently confirmed whether Paxton's campaign has issued an official statement regarding the decision to eject Lousie from the San Antonio event.
